Quick Lube Technician

As a Quick Lube Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customer's vehicles running smoothly and safely. You'll be responsible for performing various routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. You'll also provide excellent customer service by explaining services and answering questions.

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: Must be available during operating hours. This varies by season.

Starting Salary: $14.00 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Vehicles:
• Direct cars into the shop bay.
• Carry out an inspection of the vehicle.
• Perform oil changes, including draining old oil, replacing the oil filter, and adding new oil.
• Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and fuel filters.
• Check and top off fluids, including engine coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and brake fluid.
• Rotate tires and check tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for potential problems and make recommendations for additional service.
• Maintain a consistent speed during peak times.
• Providing excellent customer service:
• Ensure a comprehensive, positive customer experience.
• Greeting customers with a smile and explaining wash package options.
• Upselling additional services when appropriate.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintaining the shop facility:
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Restocking supplies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
